colori allegri - merry colours

§ I have taken these pics from one of my favourite publications "Art et Décoration" which is really ever inspiring.
This would be my ideal room: merry colours, informal surround and classic details not to loose touch with our traditions.
Unfortunately my real house is far too dark to stand that raspberry colour on the walls but the Casa Rossa ?!
It will have all the light of world.

§ Have you ever seen roses of this colour? I haven't but if anyone of you knows how they are called, please let me know.
Click on the pics, make them bigger and savour the details.

Green is not a color I like BUT this shade of green looks wonderful with the pink. I just love these photos, Rosanna!

I've seen roses that are white with pink on the edges but not quite like these.

Hugs,
Marsha

buona serata

I love your 'inspiration' photos...the colours are lovely...I can't wait for you to start work on it!
As for those amazing roses...roses are my passion, more the better, but I have never seen any like those, they are beautiful!

The truly great thing about being a miniaturist is that you can have your dream home at a fraction of the cost of the real thing!
Those pics are beautiful.

I use to read interior design magazines voraciously. Sometimes up to 10 issues monthly..lol! I look at these and see so much potential, like that chandelier which I think you can make using mounting board and beads. Everything in it look very miniaturisable except maybe those Pedrali chairs (they are sold in Singapore as well). So is this the look of your casa rosa? I think I am finally getting it..or maybe you should post more picture.

Those little roses, I think I have seen them here as well but the version I saw are little rosettes with 2 colours and 1 stalk has many roses . The ones in your picture look so much like carnations but from my research, I know there are many species of roses and some wild roses actually do look like carnations when they bloom.

Wow - I love those colors together. The overall effect is really beautiful. The roses look like Dolce Vita to me, btw.

Ciao Rosanna

buon tutto!
